Cyril  comes from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

He works at the intersection of academia and social innovation to empower youth to become the next wave of changemakers, social business founders, and community movers. In 2020, together with fellow teachers, he led the development of an idea generation and validation course called TEE (Technology, Environment, and Entrepreneurship). The program integrates social business education into the university curriculum. Currently, he serves as the Director of Innovation Programs at Foundation University. His office actively provides opportunities and a safe space for students to innovate and create solutions to today's problems. The incubation program he manages introduces and instills social business model innovation concepts in aspiring founders.
